Articles - Different Supportive Views of Christian Metal
The case for Christian Rock

Obviously, with a site called Christian Metal, it is clear where we stand on the issue. We respect the opinions of others, and feel there is room for more than one view on the matter. Consult your religious mentors and leaders, and most importantly, pray for guidance on whether or not you want to be involved in listening to or playing Christian Metal. Our views:

• There is ample historical evidence that worship has been a loud and boisterous event, and completely within the context of proper worship and genuine emotion and love.  
• Even if we concede that Christian Metal is a middle ground to the secular, we believe that you would bring far more  people into the love of Christ than would be lost to the secular world.   
• The move by most mainstream religions and churches toward modern music seems to confirm the viewpoint that religious music in a metal or rock style is not "of the devil", but nmerely another form of worshipful expression.  
• Every generation has their own musical tastes. They are going to be drawn toward those tastes despite anyone's efforts. Why not provide something uplifting in the preferred style?
